1993
Implemented an electronic practice management system to gather and utilize data, driving treatment improvements and improving our service delivery.
Continued to build and expand the continuum of treatment services
to ensure that children received the right services at the right time.
1998
Achieved Alexander’s first Joint Commission Accreditation with commendation, setting the standard for high quality care.
Merged with YouthNetwork in 2003
to expand services for older children, introduce new community-based programs, and establish The Relatives, a dedicated shelter for children and teens in crisis. After the merger, we officially became Alexander Youth Network, recognizing our evolution from a single location to a comprehensive organization with a full array of services.
Merged with Youth Focus in 2019,
further expanding Alexander’s residential treatment, community-based, and crisis services in Guilford County.
In 2020, Alexander was one of seven inaugural organizations
who joined to create the Collaborative Health Network. The organization now comprises of 13 member organizations, all representing integrative and collaborative care for North Carolinians.
