Internship Requirements
To apply for an internship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Classification: Internships are open to junior, senior, or graduate-level students.
- Background Checks: Applicants must pass required background checks, including the Diana screen.
- Immunizations & Certifications: Current and valid immunizations and certifications as required.
- Availability: Internships are available seasonally (Spring, Summer, Fall).

Application Process
- Email your application: Email your application and information to Mdill@aynkids.org. Be sure to include:
a. Desired internship area
(e.g., Counseling, Clinical Supervision)
b. Preferred timeframe
(Spring semester, Summer semester, Fall semester)
c. Any academic requirements
(e.g., hours needed, advisor approval, etc.)
2. Include resume: Be sure to attach a copy of your current resume to your email.
What to Expect as an Intern
Academic Credit
Our internships offer the potential for academic credit, depending on your institution.
Career Opportunities
High-performing interns may be considered for employment post-internship.
Timeline and Deadlines
• Spring session application deadline: December 1
• Summer session application deadline: April 1
• Fall session application deadline: August 1
Notification of acceptance will be communicated within 2-4 weeks of the application submission.
