Sandra Pizzaro Celebrates 9 Years at Alexander Youth Network!
Happy 9-year “AYN*niversary” to our Chief People & Culture Officer, Sandra Pizzaro, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, MBA.
Sandra first began working with Alexander in 2010 after serving in a role where she had the opportunity to network with the agency in identifying job opportunities for the county’s displaced community support workers. After a great networking experience, she heard about an HR vacancy at Alexander and joined as the agency’s VP of Human Capital.
In 2018, Sandra left Alexander for a brief time to work in affordable housing and then, rejoined Alexander in July of 2022 as the agency’s Chief People & Culture Officer—overseeing the functions of Human Resources and Learning & Development.
“I chose to work at Alexander because I have a lifetime of career experience in the non-profit sector, especially at organization’s supporting the welfare of young children,” Sandra said about her career. “I love that I can interact with so many dedicated employees, facilitate staff workgroups, hear staff feedback, and implement initiatives for improving their experience at Alexander. Like so many others who work here, I am grateful to be a servant leader—knowing that I can positively influence the development and advancement opportunities of our outstanding staff!”
Sandra, you are a vital member of our leadership team here at Alexander and we want to say thank you for all that you do for our agency and the families that we serve. Congratulations!
