Lester Butler Celebrates 17 Years at Alexander Youth Network!
Happy 17-year “AYN*niversary” to one of our Mental Health Counselors, Lester Kim Butler!
Lester began his career in the behavior health field in the Greater-Washington/Maryland area. After relocating to Charlotte in 2006, he was encouraged to join the Alexander team by a great friend and began working as BHC in the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF).
“I have enjoyed being with Alexander and having the opportunity to help young people improve their lives and gain the opportunity to be successful,” Lester said about his time at Alexander. “The students have assisted me with understanding what is truly important in my life. At times, they challenge my emotions, but they cause me to smile daily, which is the biggest reward!”
”I am so grateful to be a part of this team. Alexander Youth Network has contributed to me being a better human being. I continue to enjoy working with various students and learning about their interests, disinterests, challenges and exploring ways alongside them to work through them. Within all my capacities here at Alexander; each one has allowed me an opportunity to grow. I am appreciative of all the relationships I have built here, and I look forward to what is to come,” Lester said.
