A Journey of Growth and Impact
Lena began her Alexander Youth Network journey as a Qualified Professional (QP) in Day Treatment, serving Union County for five years. During this time, she underwent training in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), a framework that profoundly influenced her personal and professional life. Reflecting on this period, Lena shares:
“My training in NMT was personally transformative, and I found great fulfillment in helping clients achieve similar life changes that positively impacted their daily lives,” Lena said.
Her commitment to empowering clients through meaningful change left a lasting impact on the individuals and families she worked with, as well as the broader community.
Returning to Her Passion
In 2022, Lena made the decision to return to Alexander Youth Network, driven by her strong belief in the organization’s mission and the meaningful work being done every day. Now, as a valued member of the Performance Improvement (PI) team, Lena works closely with staff to reinforce best practices in compliance and training. Her role is critical in ensuring that Alexander Youth Network maintains its high standards of service and continues to fulfill its mission.
“This role allows me to support the agency’s mission of making a significant impact on the lives of our clients,” Lena explains.

By focusing on compliance and training, she helps create an environment where staff are equipped to provide exceptional care and support to clients.
