The Relatives
The Relatives serve as a hub of resources that helps children and youth find shelter, stability, support, and pathways to independence. The Youth Crisis Center, On Ramp Resource Center, and Housing programs help keep kids safe and families together. The Relatives serves as the Safe Place agency for Mecklenburg County and the surrounding area, partnering with local businesses to ensure young people in need have access to immediate help and supportive resources.

Youth Focus
Youth Focus has ensured vulnerable youth throughout our community have the resources and support they need to achieve safety, security, and success for over 50 years. With programs that include the only youth emergency shelter within a 100 mile radius of its location in Guilford County, two transitional living programs with one dedicated to the needs of pregnant or parenting youth, and a rental assistance program, Youth Focus provides safe and stable housing while youth build independent living skills and receive mental health resources. By supporting youth in their pursuit of educational and vocational achievement during this time, Youth Focus helps open doors for long-term success and stability. Youth Focus also serves as the Safe Place agency for Guilford, Randolph, and Davidson counties.
